Privacy policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

Verbolley does not collect, store or share any personal data of its own.

Your settings and campaign progress are saved only on your device and are included in your device's normal backups. Deleting the app deletes them.

If you're signed in to Game Center, Verbolley reports your achievements and leaderboard scores (campaign rating, tournaments won, best word) to Game Center, where they're handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Other Game Center players can see your leaderboard scores according to your Game Center settings. If you're not signed in, nothing is sent.

Online matches are played through Game Center. While you play one, the game sends your opponent what they need to play along with you (the letters you type, your words, where the ball goes, your chosen player sprite) and they see your Game Center name. Verbolley has no server of its own and keeps none of it; your online win–loss record is saved only on your device.

If you buy Verbolley Full, the purchase is made through the App Store and handled by RevenueCat, which keeps a record of it (an anonymous ID and your purchase history, not your name or Apple Account) so it can be restored on your other devices. Nothing is sent to RevenueCat for other play.

The app has no accounts of its own, and no advertising, analytics or tracking.
